A few years ago, I made a video comparing CLO3D and Browzwear and asking which 3D fashion software designers should learn. That video became one of the most watched videos on my channel. But that was 2022, and a LOT has changed since then. CLO has evolved. Browzwear has evolved. And now AI has completely changed the conversation around fashion visualization. So, I started asking myself a bigger question: if I were advising an independent designer today, would I still recommend learning CLO3D? My answer is a little more nuanced than it was a few years ago, and I think there’s one very important thing designers are overlooking when they compare AI tools to 3D software. That difference matters a lot if your goal is to eventually manufacture what you’re designing. In my new video, I’m revisiting my original CLO3D vs. Browzwear conversation and sharing where I land in 2026. We’re talking about cost, learning curve, product development, AI, and whether CLO still deserves a place in your workflow. So, would I still recommend it? You’ll have to watch to find out. Check it out now on the 383 Design Studio YouTube channel. Have a fantastic week! Mikelle |
